Apply Confederation College — Located in Northern Ontario, Confederation College offer practical programs and course across 9 campuses to over 7600 and part-time students each year. The college offers diploma, certificate and apprenticeship programs and program options like aviation, business, community service, engineering technology, health, hospitality, media arts, natural resources, preparatory studies, protective service and skilled trades. Confederation College has campuses in Dryden, Fort Frances, Kenora, Red Lake, Sioux Lookout, Geraldton and Marathon.

Confederation College distance education allows students across Ontario to participate in specified courses via internet connection in real time using web conferencing platforms and or video conferencing technology. Evening classes, online classes, distance Education (DE) and more is available in Continuing Education. There are hundreds of courses to choose from.

Before you apply Confederation College

Before applying for Confederation College be informed that the colleges minimum admission requirement for most post-secondary program is an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with a minimum of a grade 12 college or university level English and with a minimum of 2 senior credits at the college, college/university or university preparation level. Some programs do have additional admission requirements.

•Driver’s license/international driver’s license and driving insurance records (if you plan to drive or bring your car)

• Reference letters from your employers (if you had a job before coming to Canada)

Early Childhood Education (required documents)

Personal Support Worker (required documents)

• Up-to-date immunization record

• Two-step tuberculosis

• Standard First Aid and CPR: Level Certificate (Health Care Provider level)

• Current Criminal Reference Check for Service with the Vulnerable sector

• A completed Health Centre Questionnaire

Recreation Therapy Program

• Up-to-date immunization record

• Standard Fist Aid Infant/Child/CPR Certificate

• A recent Criminal Reference Check must be provided to the program Coordinator at program registration and at the beginning of each academic year.

Dental Assisting – Level I and II

Confederation College first round of *Offers of Admission” are mailed out November 1s for programs starting in the fall, so keep a close eye on your mailbox! Canadian or indigenous student Who found a program at Confederation College of interest should apply through www.ontariocollege.ca/en/colleges/confederation application website.

How to apply Confederation College as an international applicant

• Submit your application by visiting Confederation College International application portal and follow the step-by-step application process. The application is accompanied by a $95.00CAD non-refundable application fee, payable through the application portal via credit card.

• Application processing, application will be assessed once the application has been submitted and all required documents are received.

• Understanding your status, after submitting your application, you may receive one of the following responses

– Closed: the institution is unable to extend you a letter of acceptance (LOA) for your program choice, as the program is currently full.

-Needs more information: your application is incomplete and additional documentation is required to assess your eligibility. This status will be accompanied by an indication of what documentation is required.

– Waitlist: the college is still accepting applications for your program choice; however, the college have exceeded the number of available program seats.

– Offer: an offer is an LOA with no conditions attached

– Condition Offer: a conditional offer indicates certain requirements are outstanding. Your LOA will outline the conditions that must be met to earn a seat in your confirmed program Choice.

• Tuition Fee payment: to confirm your acceptance into Confederation College, you must pay your first semester tuition fees by the deadline listed on your letter of acceptance (LOA. Once this tuition deadline has passed, your offer is no longer valid.

After you apply Confederation College

Applications are considered based on a combination of time of application and academic, and will close once the program is full. The processing time for application is within five business days of receiving it. Once applicant choses program and after submitting the application fee, Confederation College gives the best and quick service and provides an offer letter in just 15 working days for which the non-refundable application will be $95 CAD
