Program Overview
About This Program
Rotman Commerce is the University of Toronto's undergraduate business program offered through the Faculty of Arts & Science and the Rotman School of Management at the St. George campus. The four-year Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) program combines business education with the broader academic opportunities available at the University of Toronto.
Students can develop expertise through specialist pathways in Accounting, Finance and Economics, or Management. The curriculum includes areas such as accounting, finance, economics, marketing, strategy, organizational behaviour, data analysis, and other areas of business and management.
Rotman Commerce students can also gain professional experience through internships, career programming, employer engagement, student organizations, and other experiential learning opportunities. These experiences can help students develop practical skills and explore different business career paths before graduation.
Admission to Rotman Commerce is competitive. Ontario high school applicants require Grade 12 English and Calculus & Vectors in addition to the other courses needed for admission consideration. All applicants must also complete the Rotman Commerce Supplemental Application, which is considered alongside their academic record.
Graduates can pursue careers across accounting, finance, banking, consulting, marketing, management, entrepreneurship, technology, and other business-related fields. Students may also continue to graduate or professional education.
