Apply George Brown College —The George Brown College of Applied Arts Technology is a public, fully accredited college of applied arts technology with three campuses in downtown Toronto (Ontario, Canada). Like many other colleges in Ontario, George Brown College was chartered in 1966 by the government of Ontario and opened the next year. In 2021, there were 27,128 full-time students, 29% international students as well as 3,123 part-time students and 58,119 continuing education registrants.

The college has 15,000 distance education students studying in over 35 countries. One of the most popular distance education programs offered by the college is its award award-winning Electronics Technician distance education program developed by Dr. Colin Simpson. 

Being named as one of the Greater Toronto’s Top Employers for 2022, George Brown was ranked among the top 10 research colleges in the county, ranking 8th for overall research income, and ranking 4th for both the number of paid students and for the number of completed projects.

BEFORE YOU APPLY GEORGE BROWN COLLEGE

In order to be admitted into the post-secondary program of your choice you must, meet the admission requirements, so please confirm that you meet the criteria before you begin your application. 

PREPARE YOUR DOCUMENTS 

In applying for George Brown College prepare documents like Consolidated Marksheet, Experience Certificate, Salary slip, salary account bank statement, appointment letter , 21th Docs, 10th Docs, Birth certificate, backlog summary, passport first page, passport last page, application form, essay or writing sample, letter of recommendation (LOR), resume, official score reports of TOEFL, official score reports of PTE, letter from bank sating funds available for study, affidavit of financial support, transcripts and mark sheets from college or university, certificates of extracurricular activities, SOP for Canada and official score reports of IELTS.  

APPLICATION DEADLINE 

Most programs at George Brown will be eligible for this early offer, depending on applicant’s date of application submission. May 1, 2023 will still be the deadline date to confirm an offer of admission for Fall 2023, and the payment deposite date will still be in mid-June, 2023. All qualified applications are highly competitive programs will be considered for available space equally until February 1, 2023. After this date, the college will still consider applicants in sequence until programs are full.

HOW TO APPLY GEORGE BROWN COLLEGE AS A DOMESTIC APPLICANT

Step 1- Find a college program

Step 2 – Complete an online Ontario College application form 

After you know which program(s) you’d like to apply to, complete an online application form at OntarioColleges

Applicant should note that there is a non-refundable $110 application fee. Academic documents should be sent to OntarioColleges.ca. 

Step 3 – Track your application status online

Applicants can track their application status online at STY-VIEW 

You will need you student ID and password. 

Step 4 – Next steps, once your college application is complete 

Once your application is complete, the college will let applicant know: 

  • If an assessment, interview, audition, or questionnaire is required, and how to book one 
  • Whether you have received an offer for the program, and how to accept the offer.

George Brown College Application Fee for International Students 

Non-refundable application fee for UG, PG, Diploma and certification courses in George Brown College is $110. This application fee is to be paid along with completed application, mandatory documents, SOP & LOR for admissions. 

AFTER YOU APPLY GEORGE BROWN COLLEGE

The processing time starts when the college begin processing applications, not when it opens the intake for submission. The current processing time is approximately 3-4 weeks. 

The college do not have the capacity to admit all applicants who meet the minimum general and program-specific requirements. Kindly not that programs can close early if international enrollment for the program is already achieved and there is no more capacity. Submission of an application does not guarantee an offer of a place in a program.
